HughesNet IPs in Our Residential Pool

HughesNet is a satellite internet provider operated by EchoStar (formerly Hughes Network Systems), serving over 1 million residential subscribers across the United States. HughesNet's primary market is rural America — locations where cable, fiber, and DSL broadband are unavailable or unreliable.

Our residential proxy pool includes IPs from HughesNet's satellite broadband network. These IPs are registered to HughesNet's ASN and classified as residential satellite broadband by IP intelligence databases. Anti-bot systems generally classify satellite ISP IPs as residential, granting them standard residential trust scores.

HughesNet IPs add a unique dimension to our pool: satellite ISP diversity. Most proxy pools consist almost entirely of cable and telco broadband IPs. Satellite IPs represent a distinct ISP category that adds another layer of diversity to your traffic pattern.

**Note**: Satellite internet has inherently higher latency (500-700ms round-trip) due to the signal traveling to geostationary orbit and back. When our rotation algorithm assigns a HughesNet IP, this latency applies to that specific request. For latency-sensitive operations, our pool includes faster broadband and mobile IPs as well.

Hex Proxies residential proxies use a rotating IP pool that includes IPs from many ISPs. You cannot select or guarantee a specific ISP — IPs rotate automatically with country, state, and city-level targeting. The ISP coverage described on this page reflects the composition of our pool, not a dedicated ISP product.

HughesNet provides coverage across the entire continental United States via geostationary satellite. Unlike terrestrial ISPs with specific service areas, satellite coverage is nationwide.
