Dedicated Proxy

Proxy Basics

Definition

A dedicated proxy is an IP address exclusively assigned to a single customer, providing complete control over its reputation and usage patterns with guaranteed clean history.

What is a Dedicated Proxy?

A dedicated proxy, also called a private proxy, is an IP address exclusively assigned to a single customer. No other users share the IP, giving you complete control over its reputation and usage patterns, with guaranteed clean history from the moment of assignment.

Exclusive IP Allocation and Reputation Control

When you purchase a dedicated proxy, the provider reserves one or more IPs from their pool exclusively for your account. These IPs are removed from the shared pool and will not be assigned to any other customer during your subscription. You control all traffic through the IP, building your own reputation profile on target websites. The provider monitors the IP infrastructure for uptime and replaces any non-functional IPs, but the usage reputation is entirely under your control.

With a dedicated IP from Hex Proxies accessible through gate.hexproxies.com:8080, every request that exits through your IP is yours alone. If the IP earns a strong trust score on a target platform, that reputation belongs exclusively to your operations. No other customer can degrade it.

Dedicated IPs for Reputation-Sensitive Operations

Dedicated proxies are essential for tasks where IP reputation must be carefully managed: social media account management, e-commerce operations, long-running data collection from sensitive targets, and any use case where cross-contamination would be costly. Hex Proxies offers dedicated IPs across datacenter, ISP, and residential types with guaranteed exclusivity.
