Note: Compatibility may vary by proxy type and target controls. Residential proxies often provide broad compatibility. Contact support to verify compatibility for your specific use case before purchase.
A residential proxy routes traffic through IP addresses assigned by consumer internet providers (fiber, mobile, cable, or DSL). Our residential network uses real residential IP space across many regions. ISP and location availability can change over time.
Static ISP proxies are hosted in datacenters, but use ISP-routed address space rather than traditional datacenter ranges. They are static by design (no automatic rotation) while your plan is active. They typically provide stable latency and session consistency, but no proxy type is immune to detection or blocks on all targets.
Static ISP plans include unmetered bandwidth under our fair-use and acceptable-use policies. We may restrict or suspend traffic that is abusive, unlawful, or threatens network stability.
For the best performance, run your workload on a server near your proxy location and target websites. Prefer low-latency routes, stable 1G/10G uplinks, and connection reuse. For US-based ISP plans, an East Coast US server is often a good default.
Browser Testing:
- Chrome/Edge: Use FoxyProxy extension or Proxy SwitchyOmega for easy proxy configuration and testing
- Firefox: Built-in proxy settings in Network Preferences, or use FoxyProxy add-on
- Safari: System Preferences → Network → Advanced → Proxies
Desktop Applications:
- Windows: ProxyCap, Proxifier, or built-in Windows proxy settings
- Mac: Proxifier, Proxyman, or System Preferences → Network
- Cross-platform: Postman, Insomnia, or curl command line
Bot Testing:
We highly recommend using CyberAIO, PrismAIO, or SoleAIO bots for proxy testing as they provide accurate results by pinging actual website endpoints.
Authentication Support:
- Static ISP Proxies: Username/Password and IP Authentication (both support HTTP & SOCKS5)
- Residential Proxies: Username/Password authentication (HTTP & SOCKS5)
Card Payments
Stripe subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle. One-time card purchases do not auto-renew and can be renewed manually from Dashboard → Orders.
Crypto Payments
Cryptocurrency payments must be renewed manually through your dashboard before your current plan expires.
Wallet Payments
Wallet plans auto-renew by default using your wallet balance. You can disable auto-renewal or renew manually at any time.
Yes. Go to Dashboard → Billing → Payment Methods to add or update your card and set it as default. You can cancel or resume subscriptions from Dashboard → Orders or the Billing overview.
Yes, ISP proxies can be blocked due to IP abuse, target-site controls, or excessive usage patterns. We test plan functionality at delivery, but no provider can guarantee uninterrupted acceptance on every target.
We reserve the right to restrict access to certain websites with strict bot protection to protect our network integrity. It's important to use proxies responsibly and rotate usage patterns to minimize the risk of IP bans.
To maintain the integrity of our proxy network and prevent IP bans, we restrict access to certain high-risk activities including but not limited to:
- Banking and financial services
- Government websites
- IP monetization applications
- Torrenting platforms
- Other sites that may result in immediate IP blacklisting
These restrictions are in place to protect both our users and our network infrastructure from potential abuse.
We do not guarantee or claim that our IP addresses will be classified as a specific type (such as CABLE, DSL, MOBILE, etc.) in any IP geolocation databases, including IP2Location and similar services. IP classification in these databases is determined by third-party algorithms and can vary significantly.
To verify the actual ISP routing information for your assigned proxy IP, we recommend using https://bgp.tools for the most accurate and up-to-date BGP routing data.
ISP Proxies
Static IPs hosted in datacenters but routed through ISP address space (for example cable/mobile ranges). They are optimized for stable sessions and predictable performance, while target-site acceptance can still vary by use case.
Residential Proxies
IPs sourced from residential networks. We offer both rotating and static residential plans. Residential routing can improve compatibility for many workflows, but no provider can promise undetectable traffic or zero blocks.
Residential proxies can be generated in two modes depending on your use case:
- Rotating mode: IPs rotate on each request for maximum anonymity and high-volume workflows.
- Static mode: Each port maps to a consistent exit IP from the country range, best for logins and multi-step flows.
Static ISP Proxies
- Username/Password authentication (HTTP & SOCKS5)
- IP Authentication / whitelist (HTTP & SOCKS5)
Residential Proxies
- Username/Password authentication (HTTP & SOCKS5)
Static ISP Proxies
ISP proxies are currently hosted in Ashburn, Virginia, providing optimal performance for North America based operations such as ticketing, streaming, ad sites, and sneaker botting.
Residential Proxies - Multiple Countries
Our engineering target is high network availability (typically around 99.9% monthly uptime). Availability can vary by region/provider, and this FAQ does not create a contractual SLA unless explicitly stated in a separate agreement.
We do not offer refunds as proxies are delivered quickly after order completion. Since our services are digital products that are immediately accessible, all sales are considered final.
In certain exceptional circumstances, we may provide account credits at our discretion. However, we strongly recommend contacting our support team before making a purchase to verify compatibility with your specific target websites and use cases.
For billing errors or duplicate charges, contact support so we can review the transaction.
Tip: Create a support ticket in our Discord server or email us at business@hexproxy.io to discuss your requirements before purchasing.
